About the Maker

Everybody’s got a story ... especially writers. My name is Christine Hart and I am a writer, maker, and mother working from my home in a suburb of Vancouver, BC. Whether I'm fabricating fiction or handmade jewelry, my goal is always to create something unusual, with a hint of the surreal or a touch of magic. As a writer, I draw on my background in corporate communications and design, as well as my education at UVic where I earned a BA in English and Professional Writing. I am also a current member of the Federation of BC Writers. As a metalsmith, I am mostly self taught, but I have taken courses at Working Silver and Soigne here in Greater Vancouver.
